C1 Electric Vehicle

The Lit C-1 is a electric urban vehicle, combining the size of a motorcycle and durability of a car. The C-1 uses electronically-controlled gyroscopes to remain upright even in the case of an accident. It can be charged up in six hours, has a top speed of 120mph, and the battery provides enough autonomy for 150 to 220 miles. It will be available in 2014 and will sell for $12,000 to $16,000 (USD).

Akira Bike Replica

This is a replica of Shotaro Kaneda’s bike from Akira, built by Masashi Teshima, who spent seven years and ¥10 million (US$121,000) to make it. It is officially recognized by Akira creator Katsuhiro Otomo. PALV Flying Car

Dutch company PAL-V announced the first flights of its prototype “flying car”. This unique vehicle is called the PAL-V One, or the ‘Personal Air and Land Vehicle’, and It marks the start of a new era. On the ground the vehicle drives like a sports car. Within minutes its rotor is unfolded and its tail is extended: then it is ready to take off thanks to the advanced gyrocopter technology.
