If you look at some of the trends that are developing in the sneaker world as of late when it comes to running sneakers, you will notice that the sneaker companies are trying to come as close as possible to simulate the feeling of barefoot running. While the debate is still out on the advantages compared to the dangers of barefoot running, there are a few products out there that are looking to take you even closer to the real thing. Nike has recently just unveiled some pieces that you stick onto the soles of your feet called Nike Footstickers.
These stickers will cover the contact points of your feet to keep you from injuring the bottoms of your feet while running “barefoot”. They have different versions which are optimized for different activities such as yoga, training and cardio and when they release should be much cheaper than actual shoes.
