Jeremy Guthrie’s (Orioles Pitcher) Shoe Vault

A lot of sneakerheads refer to their collection of kicks as their figurative “vault.” Jeremy Guthrie can refer to his in a literal sense. Easily visible are two shoes that would send many shoe junkies into a frenzy in the “Concord” Air Jordan 11 and “McFly” Nike Hyperdunk. Look close enough and you can also see a pair of “Cool Grey” Air Jordan 11 cleats intended for use on the diamond. Could you use this kind of protection for your collection?

Cool Grey Family

December 23rd, I’ve had this day circled on my calendar for a long time.  Today the  Jordan “Cool Grey” XI’s dropped and the anticipation behind this shoe can only rival the Space Jams that dropped last year.  Unfortunately I was in Australia when the Space Jams dropped and even there the stores I visited sold out of its stock within the first hour.  I was not to be denied this year and pre-ordered a pair of cool greys from the UK and snagged a second pair online.  What a nice Christmas present to myself….

Jordans

I was in Australia when the Space Jams dropped and even at $225 (US) they sold out within 20 min.  Needless to say I was super bummed that I missed out on one of the hottest shoes but will eventually cop a pair when the right price comes along.   However, I just found out they are re-releasing the Jordan XI in the cool grey colorway.  This is one of my favorite shoes and have been looking to cop a pair of these for a long time!!  Just might have to cop 2 pair…  Be on the lookout for these sometime in Nov.

There is also some news that they will be re-releasing the White/Cement III’s.; these were the first Jordans that I ever owned.  Not to sure on the specifics but these appear to be coming in a package called the Air Jordan Slam Dunk Package (limited release).  Its going to combine the White/Cement III’s and the II’s (colorway TBD).  Not sure if I will be getting these, depends on how the II’s turn out.  All in all looks like its going to be a good year for the retro jordans.
